3rd pair is still in love
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought:
- 45
This is my 3rd pair of the Bushido 2 but the 1st Gore-Tex version. Had to pull the trigger when BC went super low on the pricing. As with all La Sport shoes it helps to try them on which is difficult leading to negative reviews on sizing. Size chart I'm a 44 so that's what I went w/. Returned for 44.5, still too small. Ordered the 45 and they are fantastic! Great grip, comfortable for my foot, med. width, med. volume type foot. IMO they look cool too. Super protective upper, and major stability for technical off-trail fun. The only down side to the Gore-Tex is it doesn't breathe like the non-GT version but its fall, heading into winter so that part doesn't bother me at all. Waterproofing is what you would expect from the GT. Ordering was quick and easy per usual with BC. If I see them again anywhere near the price I paid, I would scoop them up again!

I am a great fan of La Sportiva shoes. I have a slightly narrow foot and need good arch support. La Sportiva shoes seem to fit me consistently well with good support where needed and excellent comfort.

Such a great shoe!! Multiple half dome summits, did the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu in them. I’m on my 3rd pair over the course of a few years and will continue to buy as long as they are in production. Beware they are undersized for USA buyers.

Terrible fit
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times

Toe box is cramped. Shoes run small and do not break in. I wish I could return them bc they are unwearable for me.

i first replace to speed lace on my new La Sportiva. Took it out for 5 miles trail run. Felt great, the sole felt very supportive....dont feel a thing runnung over rocks or branches.
