Why We Like The Bushido II Trail Running Shoe
Designed for serious runners taking on technical terrain, the La Sportiva Bushido II Trail Running shoe has a well-regarded reputation in our office for a reason. This newest iteration aligns with the mentality of "improve it, but don't mess with what makes it loved." You can expect the same low-volume performance fit, same drop, same low weight, same snug fit, and same outsole rubber and lug pattern.
The most noticeable update to the Bushido is the midsole construction. La Sportiva added their proprietary LaSpEVA in an effort to create a more responsive and springier ride to keep you comfortable through longer distances. Additionally, the upper has been updated with a more breathable mesh fabric that still retains the same durability of its predecessor so you can confidently tackle rugged terrain through the mountains.

Seriously stop
Don’t buy, maybe I got the screwy pair. There is a sole problem. I do not want to wear a plastic bag on my feet. A plastic bag may be better plastic than these plastic shoes. These shoes are made of plastic. The sole of the shoe is plastic like you would find in a dollar store. These shoes are like advertised as $1 online, somewhere, every second.

I bought these several months ago and they are the most comfortable shoes I own for walking and being on my feet all day for my job. The color is great, the sole has great traction. Love em!

I'll never buy another shoe.
These are by far the best and most comfortable athletic shoe I've worn. I'm going on my 4th pair. I go through shoes pretty quickly given my activity level. Super happy with them. I wish they would make more of the grey ones!

Sizing is difficult

I have other la Sportiva sneakers and these run smaller. I can usually do a 39.5 (I'm a women's 7.5) and these are too small and narrow. The tongue is a bit stiff. they do look great, gonna try a bigger size. Unless you know your exact size, I'd avoid these or find a place where you can buy them locally. Backcountry's extremely slow shipping plus $7 returns its not worth your time.

I bought these shoes a month ago and they are so comfortable! I have narrow feet and it feels very supportive. When I accidentally got the wrong size Backcountry was helpful with the return.
