Why We Like The La Sportiva Kubo Climbing Shoe
Long days on the wall are complimented by the La Sportiva Kubo Climbing Shoe. Featuring a moderate profile with asymmetrical curvature, the Kubo excels on the wall or the gym. The 4mm Vibram XS Grip2 outsole throws down tons of grip and features a top-of-toe rubber patch for better hooking and jamming. This shoe features an unlined interior, a padded and cotton-lined tongue, and two heel-pull tabs for comfort and convenience. The shoe is finished off with a dual hook-and-loop closure and an abrasion-resistant microfiber and leather upper.

Good soft shoe, heel issue

I tried these on in store for size and Backcountry was the only one that had my size available. The toe box is GREAT for someone with fairly wide feet; however, the heel doesn't fit me super well. Not sure if I have a shallow heel or what, but it constantly feels like it's going to slip out, despite using both velcro options and tightening them down a ton.
