Why We Like The La Sportiva TX Hike Mid Leather GTX Hiking Boot
Half approach shoe and half hiking boot, the TX Hike Mid Leather GTX Hiking Boot is a hybrid that hooks us up with agile and technical performance. Now available in abrasion-resistant leather, it's a lightweight hiking boot that can handle more technical trails, thanks to grippy Vibram outsoles with 5mm lugs and an Impact Brake System for better traction on dodgy descents. The GORE-TEX membranes keep our feet dry and breathing while the 2023 TX Hike now features a wider last for a little more toe room and volume than last year's version and La Sportiva's other styles.

Good Boot for Light Hiking

I love La Sportiva for knock around shoes and these are great looking as I expect from them. I have noticed some of their other shoes are way too small, that is not the case with these, if anything they are a little big. My biggest surprise is how light they are. This does concern my about how rugged they are, but I love them so far.

2nd Pair and Probably not the Last

This is my 2nd pair and they have proven to be excellent under hot, cold, and wet conditions. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that both pairs required supplemental insoles to provide adequate cushioning.

The sole on mine detached in one week. I was disappointed because I liked how it was comfortable. Hopefully they will fix the quality.

Supper light

Supper light , so light there is nothing there , I feel every single little pebble I step on let alone little rocks that feel like someone is stabbing the bottom of your foot. The footbed also feels miss-shapped and digs in the edges of my foot causing foot fatigue after a couple hours. I have had several of La Sportiva boots and still have a pair that I where almost every day and Love them , be these are a huge fail,and unfortunately for me Backcountry would not take them back and give me store credit on an actual pair of boots, Very disappointing

Much too small

Had to return it, the sizing is not accurate. Much too small. I ordered the next half size up and it was still to small. Unfortunately a larger size isn't available :(.
