A bit stiff
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 39 1/2 (supposedly 8)
Yes, these trail runners are a bit stiff and heavy. I use them more for hiking. Also, the toe box area has changed from the last models. It seems not as roomy and the shoe a bit longer. I hate it when the style changes.

great shoe but painful
- Size Bought:
- 6.5
The shoes look great and sturdy, and the waterproof is fantastic, but the form design is painful and too pointy, so I had to return them.

Happy Feet!
After trying several notable brands, I finally found the perfect hiking shoe for me! The Wildcat delivers stability and grip and still feels so comfortable! I also use it for road running, which it handles very well. Not cheap, but based on the quality, I think it will hold up for some years.

Love this shoe 2nd pair!
My fave performance from a runner. Sticky, stable , hard-core. This is my second pair. First ones lasted forever. Well made, always dry. I buy a half size up with this style, runs smaller than MY LYCAN models. Kept the shape, shank in sole mKes it was to spring off rocks and wood. Great for street or running deep in woods.

All around comfort and stability
It might be hiking runner but walking long distances in this shoe whether in trail or road is the best.

Nice shoe but too roomy
I have worn the Ultra Raptor GTX for years. It has been discontinued and this was recommended as the replacement. It is a nice shoe but nothing like the Ultra Raptor GTX which fit my foot perfectly. This shoe is way too big in the toe box for a narrow foot. I was looking for a shoe for daily, shorter but difficult hikes and ended up getting the Spire GTX. The fit is much closer to the Ultra Raptor GTX.

Best all around shoe
Perfect balance between day hiker and sneaker. Super comfortable. Been a fan of this style for years
