Size runs small

I wear Lake CX177 size 44 wide during summer/fall. Bought CXZ176 size 44 (wide) and it’s noticeably tighter than CX177 of the same size with the same socks. Other reviews are right that this winter model runs small by 1 size.

Sizes are off by one

Runs way small, off by a full size on it's scale for US size mapping. I'm an 8.5 US and couldn't even get my foot into the 41 (which is what their scale indicates in mapping). Quality seemed decent enough but star ratings don't mean much when there's a sizing issue...
