3DF 6.0 Elbow Guard
When you need a little extra courage before booking it into a techy line, or booting it off of your first double, toss on a pair of Leatt's 3DF 6.0 Elbow Guards, and give yourself a sense of security. The 3DF 6.0's are seriously build (maybe overbuild) to give you coverage when protection is of the utmost importance, using both a hard shell, and 3DF impact-absorbing foam that team up to work like a charm against blows with low-hanging branches, or hard-packed trail. They slide on, with a vented, perforated sleeve that features a silicone grip at the top, and an integrated silicone-coated X-strap that adds fit security throughout the pad. The pads are pre-shaped, and left-right specific, so you feel as natural as possible on the bars when you're rolling in hot to a steep and techy rock garden.

not good for rocky conditions
I had bought the leatt 3df 6.0 elbow guards in advance of riding season so I had not tried them out yet, I was getting ready to ride this morning and had put the 6.0 elbow pads on, they fit great felt secure, then I wanted to test the protection so I dropped my elbow mildly not hard like a crash might provide on the edge of a wood table and it felt just like I had no elbow pad on! it hurt, even just gently dropping my elbow hurt like there was only a thin layer of hard plastic and no cushioning. These are a poor design for injury protection, Just try them before you ride and you will probably send them back!!

Does it's job
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Riding with these for 3rd season,so durable. Crashed with out getting hurt. They stay in place very well. Upgraded from lesser/lighter pads to have real protection

Finally!
I have a bin full of elbow pads that caused arm pump, slid down my arms, too hot, or to bulky. Finally, I’ve found one that works for me. These pads are so comfortable that I forget they are on. They are cool, don’t move and don’t cause arm pump because they are so tight. Just bought another pair for my son.

high tech quality craftsman
someone put a great deal of time into design and making the mold on these. I like the grey color, no one pays no mind to it. I purchased the elbow and knee protectors. a must have!

Very comfortable
Very easy to put on and way more comfortable than my previous elbow guards. My only complaint is I measured my size accurately and they can slip down. I’ve resorted to wearing a long sleeve T under them to hold them in place. Once summer comes I’m not sure what I’ll do. Maybe consider 1 size smaller next time.

Very comfortable
I was really happy with the way these fit. I forgot that I was wearing them all day until I took my gear off.

Decent comfort
I thought I would try the non rigid guards. They were fairly tight at first, but seemed to loosen up a bit through the day. They are comfortable and surprisingly not as hot as I expected in the 75-80 weather. The only quibble I had was while standing with arms more straight than sitting, the guards would slide down a bit. I wore them over a light weight long sleeve jersey, which likely contributed to this. It was minor and easily rectified at each stop. I will try them under the shirt next ride as the upper silicone ring cuff will likely help. One ride, but not bad and absent what I had(nothing) they work pretty well.

Comfortable and doesn't move
Hugs my elbow like a grandma hugging her grandkid. Doesn't move around once I got the right size. Seems to protect well, though I fell into some sage brush, so that probably helped.
