Rough and tough
I have not used this set yet, but I already have the same model that i've been using for the last 3 years. Each year I put at least 500 miles of use on them and it wasn't until a few weeks ago that it was time for a new set. The reason wasn't because they wore out but because I was off trail going through a very rocky area and I slipped and fell. One of my Poles was in between two boulders and it bent as I put all my weight on it to stop my fall. I was able to bent it back and they are still usable but it just became annoying to try to collapse them all the time with the slight bent. My other Pole's tip was slammed and pushed into the pole during the fall, but again, still usable and i've used them on many hikes after the fall. I love them and are very durable so this set are the exact same as my old ones because I like how durable and tough they are.
