Why We Like The Leki Sherpa Lite trekking poles
Lighter than the regular Sherpa trekking poles, the Leki Sherpa Lite features a slightly slimmer tube diameter for extra weight savings. The Aluminum HTS 6.5 shafts are light but strong with a 3-piece telescoping design that lets us adjust our length and lock down our preferred fit with the easy Speed Lock 2 Plus clamps. The new Aergon Air grip has improved comfort and control and pairs with the adjustable and lockable security straps for ergonomic hand and wrist positions that make us rely on our major muscle groups (and not weak wrist ligaments) to support us on slick and sketchy terrain. The Sherpa Lite comes with trekking baskets, but it's easy to swap them out with Leki's Big Mountain Binding Basket (sold separately) when hiking and backpacking season shifts to ski touring and mountaineering season.

Poles for splitboarding
These poles are great. They came with two sets of baskets. One for powder and one more general. They extended easily and are able to be adjusted with gloves on. The three part pole is very convenient for me since I don’t need them on the way down. The grip on the shaft of the poles came in handy when the terrain got steeper for a short time. I haven’t been able to use them in the summer yet, but they have been just what I needed for splitboarding
