Poor quality of materials on sensors
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The equipment works well in its functionalities. Sometimes the GPS does not pick up a signal or it takes several minutes and it is necessary to restart the module. After 1 year of use, the main problem is that the sensors and supports are of very poor quality and resistance. The rubber bands to hold the cadence sensor cut off after a few days and you lose the sensor. The plastic ears where the rubber bands are attached to the sensor break easily and you lose the sensor. (see photos) The internal system that holds the battery caps, dries out and breaks, leaving the cap without sustenance. The plastic grooves that hold the cover are broken (see photo in the first battery change). The sensor filled with moisture inside and broke. In conclusion, an investment that, because it is cheap, has been very expensive.
