Water still has a “taste”

I bought this bottle with plans to use it at Disney. I have only tested this on 2 sources of water at home; city tap water and filtered fridge water. While both have improved taste, I can still identify the city water. For those interested, this bottle holds 19. 3 oz water when filled at the max line and due to the length of the straw, there is 1. 48 oz of undrinkable water, leaving you with ~17. 8 oz of filtered water. When filled, it weighs ~2lb, 3oz- so keep that in mind if you’re backpacking. I hope this bottle makes the swampy Florida water drinkable at Disney. Otherwise, I don’t think I would purchase again.

Trustworthy water bottle

I feel I can drink water anywhere on my travels with this water bottle. It is abit hard to sip from but I feel it is doing a super job of filtering.

Purchased just in case. . .

I bought it as a backup replacement, not that I needed it, but I know me, and I know I should have on handy. But, it is the exact same one that comes on the bottle, so I know it is as good as it gets!

It’s hard to draw through.

It’s hard to draw through. I guess it’s because of the filter media.

I’m really enjoying this lifeStraw

I’m really enjoying this lifeStraw knowing that the water I’m putting in it almost anywhere I go is transformed into safe healthy, “good” drinking water.

Highly Recommend

This is our second stainless steel Lifestraw purchase and we love it. The peace of mind it provides when we travel to foreign countries is well worth it. We haven’t used it for camping yet but know we will be soon… .

Good product, not for me

I’m sure this is a great product, but I had a really hard time sucking water out of the nozzle thing and the day I was testing it, I just didn’t drink enough water. Also, quite heavy.

LifeStraw Go Series Stainless Steel 18 oz Review

The Go Stainless Steal 18 oz bottle works great. Unfortunately, I have a few issues with it. I bought it to use in the hospital, where I've spent many months with my husband. I was hoping to use it for both of us to filter water to drink there, as their water is horrible. Since it filters the water on the way out, you can’t pour the filtered water into another cup. :( Also, I love ice water, with the filter unless you have crushed ice you can’t use ice in the bottle due to the filter going down the middle of the bottle. As, both of these characteristics are important to me, it was somewhat of a disappointment. On the positive side the water taste great and I drank more water in the past week at the hospital than probably in the past three months my husband was an inpatient in critical condition. He just went through a heart and kidney transplant, due to his his in the service, with multiple complications. At this point we do not have the ability to buy a second bottle. I do appreciation your company and what you are doing. Thanks for helping out those who need it most.

Commitment to purified water

I've been using my Lifestraw bottle for a few months now, and here are my observations: PROS: I like that I'm removing micro-plastics from my drinking water, for daily use at home, and that I can travel anywhere, and use tap water safely and eliminate single-use plastic bottle usage. CONS: I don't like / find inconvenient the following: 1) The separate screw-on lid. When I leave it off, I find water pulls up through the straw and spills around the bottle on its own. This is really inconvenient because I leave the bottle uncovered most of the time while at home/in a hotel room. I mean, I don't want to be fiddling around with unscrewing a lid in the middle of the night when I wakeup and want a sip of water. 2) It's really heavy - as in, literally gives me a sore shoulder when carrying it around. 3) The bottle size is too wide to fit into any car cup / bottle holder, except for one strap carrier with adjustable straps.

I love that I now

I love that I now have a water bottle that keeps my water cold! My only issue is that the top is separate from the bottle and will make it easier to lose. Otherwise, I’m happy with it.
