New tape, New bike feel

The cheapest and easiest way to improve your ride is new bar tape. I have tried a lot of different tapes and always end up returning to Lizard Skin 3.2. This tape has good cushion but still allows a good feel on the bars while out of the saddle or while leaning into a corner. I like the fact that I can take it off and wash it and re-apply a couple of times during the season to get rid of the grime that builds up. Regardless, I still replace every spring and love the look and feel of new Lizard skin bar tape.

Great bar tape

I love the thick, cushioned feel and grippy texture of this bar tape. It's a little more difficult to apply because of its thickness but well worth it in terms of feel. It's cushy and really helps reduce road vibration in my hands and arms. It has been on my bike for over a year. I ride every day and have done several longer rides (50+ miles) and it is still in great condition.

Got destroyed after a few hundered miles
This tape seemed good at first, but within weeks it was destroyed. It gets very dirty and fell apart. Unless you are in the tour and are re taping your bars every ride, I would avoid this stuff

Held off on ordering for quite a while due to cost, finally but the bullet and I wish I had earlier. Installed on my gravel bike, this bar tape is grippy when wet and dry and the added cushioning it great without groves.

Lizard shins dsp 3.2mm

Fat... Fat Fat.... There are cushy for sure, but the tape on the underside is minimal and should be wider to stick better. I feel like im using the old sponge type handle bar foam... They are comfy for sure, but because its fat, they are moving already and spreading out and i will have to re-wrap them again.

Lizard skin is the only bar tape I use. When your riding 4,000 plus miles a summer you?ll appreciate the thickness. They are very grip for bar tape too. If your looking for comfort and quality, look no further.

Gets dirty really easily

I bought this bar tape because of the popularity thinking I would get great service out of it, wrong! After installing about two weeks the tape is already showing dirt easily, my tape is the dark blue color. I definitely won?t be buying this tape again.
