Why We Like The Pivot 12 GW Ski Binding
The Pivot 12 is the lightest and most forgiving binding in the line which makes it the ideal binding for lighter riders to get the performance that Pivots are known for without the added weight. The solid construction and reliable release on this binding provide peace of mind, while the minimal footprint drives power to your edges and maintains the ideal flex of your skis.

These bindings are just what I need.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Two comments: 1) the Look Pivot 12s are likely all that I need now that I'm in my late 70s and no longer racing. 2) I paid more than I should as Backcountry would not match my PSIA discount and returning them would have cost me shipping fees which would have narrowed, but not eliminated the price difference.

Not durable, broke after 1/2 season
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Height:
- 5' 3"
- Weight:
- 120
The toe piece on this binding broke after 1/2 season of use and now have to get new bindings in the middle of the season. The local ski shop indicated they had seen this particular failure on at least 4 other occasions, and Look will not warranty. I am going to attempt to process a warranty claim but not sure if I want to mount these on any skis moving forward. My son rides his skis hard but expected better durability. I am having a Marker Griffon mounted on his skis today.

Mounted these on some 172 Nordica 104 Frees for my daughter, step up from 164's to the 172s and wanted to insure safety. She skied them 4 days at Beaver Creek and Keystone Dec. 30-Jan 2, 2024. First rides and she rocked them with amazing bindings the Look 12 pivots.

Best retention (performance), best release (safety)...what else do you need?
Simply the performing since the heel can move up 25mm and then come back in! Awesome in chatter, crud and big air landings.
