Why We Like The Arm Warmers 2
How do you plan for changing weather conditions over the course of a ride? By making your outfit as adaptable as possible. For fall, many of us choose to delay breaking out our jackets and long-sleeve jerseys for a more segmented approach--one that includes arm warmers such as the Louis Garneau Arm Warmers 2. When worn with a regular jersey, and perhaps a wind-stopping base layer, they give you insurance against the cold, and the ability to cool off if it warms up.
The Arm Warmers 2 are made of Garneau's HeatMaxx fabric, a polyester/elastane blend with a brushed fleece back to retain body heat. A silicone gripper at the bicep keeps each arm warmer from sliding down and exposing a gap beneath your jersey sleeve. Flatlock seams ensure minimal friction against your skin, and a reflective logo on the forearm adds some extra visibility from the side. The Arm Warmers 2 also have a UPF/SPF rating of 50.
The Louis Garneau Arm Warmers 2 come in sizes X-Small through X-Large and in three colors: Black, White, and Red.

Horrible product, worse customer serivce

I recently purchased a pair of your arm and knee warmers. I I’m happy with the quality, and their warmth on a 45° morning ride. This past week, the first time I wore the arm warmers I noticed an issue. The rubber strap at the top to secure to the skin head melted in a way? The product seems like it did not go through the proper process of rubberizing the material. It stuck all to my arms. I’ve had no problems with the knee warmers though. They have the same band, but it is highly glossy material that is actually adherent to the skin, but not sticky. 11 days ago, I emailed Garneau in regard to an issue with a product that I purchased. I was emailed back saying I’d receive a response within two business days. Here we are nine business days later, and I have not received any response in regard to my issue. This is disheartening, and makes me question the integrity of this company. I will never buy a Garneau product ever again. Period, full stop.

The majority of the material feels soft and comfortable, but the elastic upper felt abrasive and itchy. Additionally, the length felt a little short.
