Why We Like The Course Air Lite XZ Cycling Shoe

Louis Garneau's Course Air Lite XZ Cycling Shoe pushes the envelope of high performance. We like this shoe because of its stiffness and ventilation, which are a huge benefit in both racing and training. Louis Garneau increased arch support and power transfer so we can keep comfortable and never waste watts. A ventilated and expandable zone ensures accommodation for B to D+ foot widths to prevent numbness, and LG's new under-lace woven system keeps dirt out from under the shoe's guides. The Course Air Lite XZ Cycling Shoe is made to be durable without sacrificing comfort, and its Ergo Air Transfo 3D insole includes three adjustable arches so riders can find their perfect fit. We like that this shoe's stiffness improves power transfer and, whether we're pumping out big miles or facing challenging training days, we're happy to be sporting the Course Air Lite XZ Cycling Shoe.

niiice shoe

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I had to go a half size larger than the the size I've worn forever. 44.5 to 45. If the wide was available that would have been perfect. Boa working both ways to tighten and loosen is a must too and these have it. They're lighter than my last pair of Shimano that were worn in enough and needed retirement. Time will tell on how they last for me.

Great fit, have worn well.

Picked up a pair last year, at the reduced price, and they have held up great. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have worn in a long time. Pretty good even in the hot weather rides. I would def. consider this shoe as a future replacement.

These shoes are the very first pair of shoes that offer a proper fit and a solution for when your foot sweals. First of, I have a collection of insoles, from Solestar to Sidi memory and none have soled my numbed feet issue. Well, I came across these shoes and scored! Is worth to mention: remember I mentioned I have all those fancy insoles?... these shoes have some insoles that are just like jelly, no structure or support at all. Thus, at first you may think this is not going to work. Such insole goes against everything the cycling market tells us about foot stability and so forth. However, is all about the shoe, my knees are just super straight and the foot feels amazing. Now, I was thinking that such comfort will come at a high watts price. I was wrong, I use a power meter and my power increased tremendously. They dont feel as stiff as a pair of S-Works but the power meter is there to prove I push about 30-40% more power with ease. 100% recommended! Cons: I have tried to find the proper torque to tight the cleats and there is absolutely no information anywhere. I think there is something regarding the left shoe above the cleats that I can feel on my feet. A little discomfort but cant compare to numb feet. So I just ignore it. Size: I am size 10 in sneakers or 9.5 in sleeper shoes (if not 10 as well). I ordered size 44 and is just perfect. You always want to have some extra room on your too box for your toes to expand.
