Would buy again!

I got these on sale, so I think they are a great value! The chamois is very comfortable, on par with expensive shorts. After washing, the legs roll a bit but bad like cheaper shorts. The fit is super comfy!

Not happy
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
Bought the navy blue in a size small. Fit was perfect. Liked the shorts after a couple of rides, so I bought the gray ones - same size. Could not get the gray ones over my knees, let alone pulled up due to being so small. The fabric is also completely different - rough with no stretch. Very disappointed the sizing and fabric are not consistent.

Runs small the fabric is thin with little stretch. Runs very small. I loved the LG carbon 5.5 shorts this is more cheaply made. Chamois is little thicker than a tri short. Not good for cycling over a few miles.

I love these shorts that I bought 2 pairs. My favorite part is that they don't choke out my thighs. They fit my waist perfectly but allow my legs to not be overly constricted. I've tried several shorts where the bands about the thighs are too tight and down right uncomfortable if you're legs are thicker than your waistline. Total win for me.

Great shorts.... But...

I've been using these Garneau shorts exclusively for years. I'm always the same size: 5'8" and 145lbs. but initially I had to wear a LARGE because they ran so small. Then, they redesigned them and suddenly I had to wear a SMALL. Now they redesigned them again and I finally wear what I should have been wearing all along: a MEDIUM. But in this redesign the medium is a little short in the waist, the shorts don't come up enough. In my opinion they've been cut too short from the crotch to the waist. What a shame. I wish Garneau would make up its mind on what to do with these shorts and stick with it, they are on the right track now, but the sizes need a little tweaking. They are otherwise wonderful shorts.

Wife love's em

Purchased 3 pair of short (5" inseam) shorts from my wife as a gift. This pair was her favorite, PI and more expensive LG shorts were returned. She preferred the pad in this short and also liked that it does not have a noticeable leg gripper which bothered her on the other 2 pairs. She wears these for indoor spinning classes and outdoor riding.

Feels nice, but legs ride up

The bottom half of bicycling togs I purchased for my wife. She noted that the padding works well and the outline isn't too bad (for bike shorts), but these shorts lack any "gripper seam" along the leg holes, which allow them to creep up her admittedly skinny thighs while riding. I'm surprised about that oversight given the price.

These are my new favorite shorts! I love the shorter inseam length is super cute and just right for me. I also love the pocket on the outside of the leg - it fits my iphone11 no prob. The padding is really comfortable for me and these are my go to shorts for long rides and short rides. I also find the waist and legs openings to be comfortable and not too tight like some shorts are. I am often an XS, but these only come in a small. I feel like these run true to size. I would have tried an XS if it was available, but the small fits great and is very comfy. I would recommend these.
