Why We Like The Mad Rock Triple Mad Pad
The Triple Mad Pad is Mad Rock's largest crash pad, and we like laying it down for traversing boulder problems and rocky landings. It unfolds in three sections instead of two in order to provide a bit more area than the average crash pad. Shoulder straps make it easy to transport the pad from boulder to boulder, and it easily converts into a couch so we can chill around the campfire after a day of sending.

So much pad
- Familiarity:

Confidence inspiring pad. Lots of real estate, plenty thick. Lightweight and easy to carry. The couch idea is a cool gimmick, but mostly seems to end up tumbling over. It’s a little fiddly to close up and you can’t really carry much else. Hard to beat the dollar per square inch on this.

Very nice crash pad. It is a little bit hard for the purpose I purchased it for, but know I will get many years of use out of with my grandchildren.

Great Climbing Pad

We built a rock wall in our garage and have since bought 2 pads, which are able to be attached together. They are incredibly durable and provide protection from falls on top of a concrete garage floor. Great product!

Great Big Pad
- Familiarity:

I was looking for a big pad that is suitable for highballs but still fits in my car and doesn?t cost a ton. The triple pad is it! It is massive and had 5? of sturdy foam that evens out rough terrain and easily breaks a fall from 20+ ft. I took a 23 ft fall onto the pad and was fine! It also packs up pretty well so it is manageable (it?s still big though). Another added benefit is that you can place your pack on top of the pad and secure it with a bungee for a simple way to haul your gear. I highly recommend it!
