Comfort Knit Fast Adjust Harness
The Comfort Knit Fast Adjust Harness combines Mammut's most innovative designs with a fully-featured construction for climbing multi-pitch, ice, and mountaineering routes. Compared to most harnesses outfitted for bigger climbs, this harness feels remarkably lighter, softer, and more breathable thanks to Mammut's Warp-Knit open webbing material, and Mammut's Split Webbing optimizes weight distribution for all-day comfort at a lighter weight. A single, self-locking waist buckle boasts quick-and-easy exit and entry, and Mammut's Fast Adjust buckles make it even easier to adjust the leg loops. The tie-in loop has a plastic protector and an internal indicator that help you consider replacing the harness after plenty of wear-and-tear. There are four attachments for ice screws, one for a chalk bag, and a 2kN-rated haul loop to prepare you for anything in the vertical world.

Faith in equipment
My first harness was a Mammut back in 2006 and after a long break from climbing I started back at the gym. Went with a brand I trusted and had history with but this is way more comfortable than what I used to have. I know it's not an apples and oranges and comparing the two isn't fair but I'm pretty spoiled with the wide waist belt on this harness. I got the XL and the waits is great but wish there was just a touch more adjustment to tighten the legs but it still feels fine. I'm currently only hooking to auto belays at the gym and it's a pleasant ride back down. A few unexpected falls as well and it's been flawless.

Comfort
The gear loops are angled in a way that keep things organized and in place. I really like the wear indicator technology, good job Mammut. And as the title states, this harness is very comfortable. The only thing I could pick at would be the plastic inserts inside of the tie in points. The sharp edges of the plastic are causing premature wear on my webbing I use for extended rappels.

Perfect All Around Harness
This harness has every feature I needed and is comfortable to boot. It has 4 ice clipper locations that are subtle and sleek. The gear loops rack cams and draws really easily. The lower tie in point is reinforced with plastic, preventing excessive wear from happening. It also features very helpful wear indicators that reveal themselves when the harness is worn too far in key structural areas. Excellent design and would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable Sport/trad/ice/alpine harness.

Great comfy ice climbing harness
6ft and 160. order a large for the layers while ice climbing. Turns out I need a medium. So I ordered another one! Large was ok with 3-4 layers including shell. I am just picky, I want my adjustments to be flush. I have a 29.5 inch waist. The harness looks super cool and has all the basic features for ice rock ect. Some people may think its a little bulky for a harness, but thats what adds the comfort. The adjustments for the leg loops are capped out and only tight maybe 3 inches? SO consider that, the legs on the large fit just barely at full tightness. Although those never really have to be tight let alone snug.

Awesome harness! Amazing quality and comfort.
Comfiest harness I have owned! Fits well and features really perform well. Gear racks are positioned to clip easily and sit great, shape means gear hangs where it should for easy reach. Ice screw clip positioning works well too. Can't speak to durability as only used it a few times but the build quality is so good I am not worried and feels like it will last for ever. Sizing is true to size, got xl for winter climbing which fits but large would have been better to be in the middle of the adjustment range.

If you like the ophir just go ahead and buy this harness. The material is extremely comfortable against the skin (when climbing shirtless.) I really like the ice clipper slots as they make a great location for gym tags to keep them out of the way of your gear / slings. I personally bought this harness to upgrade my old sport harness and it is holding up great after nearly a year of climbing on it already.
