Eigerjoch Pro In Hooded Jacket
For your next trip to high heights, cold climates, and technical terrain, gear up with the Mammut Eigerjoch Pro In Hooded Jacket. Designed for mountaineering, this jacket has everything you need to thrive in extreme environments. The shell of the jacket is made up of Pertex Quantum Pro fabric, an ultralight material that repels water, resists abrasion, and adds almost no weight to your kit. On the inside you've got a combination of down and synthetic insulation for a one-two punch of warmth and comfort in cold conditions. PrimaLoft Gold insulation is placed in areas that are more sensitive to moisture buildup, giving you warm-when-wet warmth where it counts and reliable down insulation everywhere else.

Confidently warm
I got this jacket for ice climbing as my belay jacket and it has performed just as I had hoped. It has nice big dump pockets for switching your gloves out between climbs, and of course the double zipper for belaying comfortably. The face fabric has some durability to it which I like and although it is not waterproof it has a DWR finish that works great at keeping the jacket pretty dry. It is designed well to fit over your harness without having to size up. I am 5' 6" and 170 lbs and I got a medium.

Great belay parka
I used this during the Michigan Ice Fest as a belay parka. At one point, it was well below zero with wind chill, but it kept me comfortable. It is so comfortable and well fitting that I was even able to climb while wearing it because I just refused to take it off. I looked like a mushroom in my photos, but I was a warm mushroom. The pockets are well located and did not interfere with my harness. The arms had full movement. The bottom zip was adjustable to fit the harness as well. The inside pockets hold everything. Great purchase. Well worth it.

Best Cold-Weather Camping Jacket
I had a first-gen (possibly only gen) Dri Down puffy from Sierra Designs, and it was a great coat but lacked some features. One of those was a DWR or water-resistant coating. 10 years later, time to replace my old puffy. The Eigeroch pro jacket ticks all the boxes, and it's been field-tested for late-October desert camping in utah. The lows were mid-30s, and I was super comfy with minimal layers. Worth it!

Arctic tested
This jacket felt like wearing a cloud made of goose. It was extremely warm, up to -50 C. The large zippers and draws on them were a bonus when getting in and out of pockets in frigid temps.

Great jacket
This jacket is incredibly warm and seems like great quality. Really looking forward to testing it out in some extreme environments.

Very warm
I was up at Edora when they shut the resort down due to high winds but inside my jacket I was nice and warm. I like the adjustable hood bc usually hoods cover my face but this helps keep the hood on but not over my eyes. I went ice climbing in it and it held up well. This is saying a lot as I have full body contact in the ice as I climb with one leg. I took it to Michigan and it packed down well for the flights and was able to stuff into the suitcase just fine.
