Glacier Dry Cord
The extremely light and highly compressible Mammut Glacier Dry Cord is suitable for rappelling, haul maneuvers, or crevasse rescues. Whether you're glacier trekking or ski mountaineering, the extra-grippy aramid sheath construction makes it easy to handle. Its dry treatment prevents it from absorbing moisture then freezing while also providing high abrasion resistance for your missions in the mountains. And with less than 2% stretch, you'll have greater efficiency in your rescue maneuvers and won't have to worry about the bungee effect as you rappel.

Rescue gear
Extremely lightweight and well-made. Hoping I never actually have to use it for a crevasse rescue.

Perfect Couloir Rope
Ultralight rap cord for rapid couloir assaults. Absorbs virtually no water & handles really well...no tangles unlike other 6mm ropes I've used. The thought of carrying a full diameter rope for ski touring is unthinkable after using these. Some specialized rappel techniques are required to use them safely but nothing that can't easily be learned. Highly recommend these ropes!

Lightweight, durable, easy to use glacier rope
I bought 2x 30m of the glacier cord. It's extremely lightweight and packable - you barely notice it at the bottom of your backpack. The sheath is durable and very supple which makes knot-tying a breeze. The only caveat is that the glacier cord doesn't have any middle marker which can be fixed by drawing one with a permanent marker. Otherwise, it's a nearly perfect product.

Specific use. Light. Very static.
Fills the light recovery role well that other manufacturers don't have covered.

Light and Small
Takes the weight of a full sized rope off your to make the day out a bit easier. Make sure you practise the specific techniques this rope requires as it is much thinner then most ropes.

Ultimate lightweight rope kit!
This is the ultimate rope for lightweight glacier travel and ski/splitboard mountaineering. I prefer to use two separate 30m lines over a full 60m since it's much more versatile. The sheath in this rope compared to other brands makes it much more durable and for a rope with a shorter lifespan this is indispensable. Worth ever penny, but it would be great to see this with a 40m option as well.

Great cord for use around snow.
Overkill for a tag line when using a single role and needing to do a double rope rappel. For that I would look at the BD, Edelerid, or other options like that in the more affordable world. This cord excels when you are going to be encountering the alpine environment. Great competitor to the Petzl RAD line and given the specialized scope of the Petzl Pro program, this is a great alternative!

I rated it a 5 stars because it's just what I need for a ski patrol self rescue rope. I recommended 9-10 because I haven't put it to use yet.
