Light and durable, but sizing seems off
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Small
I bought this in December and have used it several times for both in-bounds snowboarding as well as touring. It’s very lightweight, packs down easily, and holds up decently against the wet, heavy PNW snow. Haven’t taken it on super windy days so can’t speak to how windproof it is. Worth noting that I initially ordered a medium and had to exchange it for a small - I’m 5’5” / 120 lbs and the other Mammut jackets/tops I have are medium but I definitely needed this one in a small (and I can still fit a lightweight down jacket under it). Unless you want it to fit really big/loose might consider ordering down a size.

Love this jacket! Lightweight, great fit, and sturdy zippers. I wear this over an insulated jacket on super cold backcountry days.

Great touring jacket
I bought this because I wanted a longer jacket that would cover my behind and have deep pockets. I love the fit of the jacket over my layers, the variety of pockets have been great. There's a chest pocket to fit skins in, I don't use it but it's nice to have for other odds and ends like pocket snacks or a soft water flask. I'd honestly get this again. I've only worn it a handful of times out on full day tours. It lives in my pack when it's nice out, and has come in handy to help with wind and other elements.
