Great Product
Stainless steel is the only way to go if using these maillons for fixed climbing anchors. Plenty strong and rated for climbing. Outstanding price too. I only wish I could buy more. Great work, Mammut!

It's the most maillon of all time
I bought a few of these to bail before reading that it's a better idea to just use non-lockers as maillons can rust up after being on a wall and cheap beaners are easy to clean. These have still done the job and I'll hold onto them to make ankers in the future. Well constructed and screws together without binding. Another solid product from Mammut.

Strong Quick Link
Good for retreating off of trad climbs? Yes Good for adding to/swapping existing bolted anchor hardware? Yes Good for helping to pull a boulder out of a 4x4 trail? Surprisingly Yes! And without any damage.

Just have one with you
J'ai toujours minimalement un maillon avec moi, ça m'a permis de me sortir de fâcheuses positions à quelques reprises et sécuriser de vieux relais louches.

One of those products that you don't necessarily want to use but love to have them when you need it. I know I can rely on Mammut to make a strong Maillon to lower on if I need.

Great backup when climbing
Keep this on my harness as a backup when bailing off a route so I don't leave any expensive gear behind.

Always keep a few of these in your pack
I always make sure to keep a few of these in my packs as we go on hikes and canyons here in Utah. These are built well, have a nice smooth finish and have been as reliable as you would expect from Mammut. These are also handy to keep around in case of emergency.
