Why We Like The Mammut Norwand Pro HS Pant
A pinnacle pant for mountaineering and ski touring, Mammut's Norward Pro HS Pant provides rugged weather protection for harsh wintry conditions. The Norwand Pro features GORE-TEX Pro for the most rugged GTX waterproofing—plus sections of GORE-TEX Pro Stretch in key zones to support a full range of motion when we're actively climbing or skiing. The full-length zippers also solve several issues with ski pants, opening fully to slip easily over our boots, ventilating our legs, and providing a drop-seat for easier pit stops.

Love these shells
I've worn these pants ski mountaineering on Breithorn and Monte Rosa in April. They held up pretty well on rocks, ice, and snow. I like the Velcro on the legs which helps prevent tripping over with crampons on like my other pants. I've tried using the bathroom zipper and do not find it useful with all the hardware and ice screws attached but I'm sure they'll be convenient when I'm not using my gear. The pants size run quite small (EU size). I'm a size medium and had to go up to size 10 for my athletic quads.

Great pants, odd fit
I had to go up two sizes from a 6 to a 10 because the sizing is so weird on all this brands ski pants. They are all so short, now I have pants with a bunch of extra room in the rear and they look a little absurd. Other than sizing they work great for ski touring.

Absolutely love these! Needs phone pocket in a different spot.
These pants are 10/10 amazing, with the exception of the pocket placement. My phone sits right at my hip joint, getting in the way of leg flexion. Pockets need to be deeper or placed lower down on the leg.

Runs very small.
Beautiful pants. Runs very small. I'm normally between a 4-6, ordered an 8, super small. I'd size up 2 sizes. Other than that, they are really nice.
