Great probe pole.
This probe is easy to deploy, very long and strong. I have practiced with this probe pole a couple of times. It is pretty intuitive and quick to set up. It is thick enough to not deflect but light so it is easy to carry on long tours.

Solid Feel and Functionality
I bought this probe as a replacement to my previous, shorter probe I purchased 10 or so years ago. I'm quite pleased with this new one, it works as it should with no complications. This new probe has a larger diameter compared to my last one and is very confidence inspiring when probing. The release is a sturdy and simple mechanism, the cable appears durable. Due to its increased length and girth, it's a bit heavier than my last one. But in my opinion, avy gear isn't the place to worry about cutting ounces. Overall, this is a reliable , durable and easy-to-use probe option at a fair price point.

Lightweight, easy to use and easy to read. Very important for avalanche rescue. I’ve gone out to practice with this several times now and each time it deploys quick and easy! Also it’s very visible so other rescuers can come find you if you get the first probe strike.

Excellent probe.
I have used this probe a handful of times in practice for my AIARE class and in the beacon parks. My instructors recommended the slightly longer length compared to some of the kit ones. Marking on it are clear and I have been able to throw deploy and tension it as fast as any of the probes that were being used. Mammut makes great products. Ill updated again at the end of season as I intend to practice more as the season continues.

Super good probe. I love the speed locking capabilities as they make assembly much faster, which can never hurt while on the slopes.

Only used it once so far
But it's a huge upgrade from my old probe in speed of deployment.

It works. The additional length was only a bother in a class when we were practicing probing in the trees which may be a practical problem if you are in glades or other areas with dense tree coverage.

Best for California deep snowpack. Why i went with the 320. Used in the back country as a part of my avi pack.

Great Probe
Ideal probe. 320 is the way to go, and get aluminum! It’s not worth shedding a couple of grams for a carbon one that might break on you when it matters most. While there’s other options out there with these specs, this does the job well. Be familiar with the markings. For me these are ideal.

Good Quality Probe
It's long but a bit bulky. It's tough to fit in the probe slot of my backpack. Seems quality
