Why We Like The Marmot 96 Active Anorak
Light and packable, the Marmot 96 Active Anorak makes crisp breezes more bearable when we've reached the summit. The light, stretchy build won't stifle our microclimate or movement, while the exterior finish causes misty mountain air to bead up and roll off. When the winds calm down and the sun peeks out, this breezy layer stuffs away into its own pocket to keep our hands free and our pack light.

Great pullover
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this on and my kid says, “oh that’s the best jacket ever, it looks so good on you!”. I’m not sure exactly what she likes so much about it but I’ll take that compliment! I have wide hips versus my waist and the anorak has enough room for them. It’s nice because the top is roomy enough for a thick sweater too.

Great and versatile - love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am getting so much use out of this anorak! It's lightweight enough to function as a light jacket or windbreaker, you can easily wear layers under for additional warmth if needed, and it's great as a light rain jacket (while not feeling as crinkly as a traditional rain jacket). I haven't worn the anorak in heavy rain, so I can't speak to how dry you'd stay in those conditions, but I have worn it in light showers and have been quite pleased with how to water just rolls right off it. The sleeves have elastic at the cuffs, which is nice for those of use with shorter arms (it's not tight, but does keep the sleeves from just falling over your hands); and the hood has a small bill, which gives you a little extra face protection. This is now my go-to packable, versatile jacket.

Great for Day Hikes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great lightweight windbreaker for days hikes. Easy to get in and out of even though the fabric isn’t stretchy. Bill on the hood blocks out lots of raindrops.

Nice enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jacket, nice weight, seems well made. A little bit bigger than I wanted. Marmot sizing is a bit difficult. Normally size up to wear over sweatshirt, etc so I ordered an XL but easily could’ve worn a L. Very loose fitting.
