Very nice shirt but unexpected cut.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Large
Good cloth, nice feel, fit is fine. Buttons are placed to create a deeper neck cut than expected. If I wore a large gold chain that I wished to display or an ascot this would be perfection. Be aware before buying.

If you liked the old Aerobora fabric (a little thicker/denser with a grid of small holes for ventilation) you will be sad if you buy the new Aerobora. The new fabric is a very thin, very stretchy ripstop. The old Aerobora held its shape and could be dressed up with a tie. The new Aerobora is limp and can’t support the weight of the collar. The old Aerobora breathed. The new, not so much (although it is super thin). The fit has changed. The old Aerobora had a little room to move around in. The new is much more form fitting (tight, even). The old Aerobora was the perfect shirt. Always looked crisp, could be packed for a trip and take you from casual lunch to dressy dinner. The new can’t do either comfortably. Two thumbs down Marmot!

Nice shirt, but not as nice as they used to be.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice shirt, but it’s not the same or as nice as the previous version. I owned this shirt before and I loved it so much I wanted another exactly like it, but the new version is very different. The color, the fabric type/texture and breathability as well as where the tags/logos are placed are totally different from the version I loved so much. The cut & fit is very similar which is nice. I’ll be interested to see how this new fabric holds up over time, travel and lots of temperatures.

No shoulder logo.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the short sleeve and the breathability of this material, but the long sleeve lacks the logo on the shoulder that adds some style. Bring back the shoulder logo.

A great improvement over the previous version
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an older Aerobora short sleeve shirt, which has the collar that someone fittingly described in a review as hearkening back to the 70's days of disco. I decided to take a chance on the new model and am very glad I did - it feels great, looks really good, and I expect it will be a great traveling companion, in a quiet sort of way.
