Why We Like The Marmot Highland Down Jacket
Whether we're using the Marmot Highlander Down Jacket as a midlayer for skiing the resort or wearing it as a standalone piece through town, we use it to stay warm and toasty in brutal, cold weather. The weather-resistant Pertex Quantum fabric defends from light rains and wind, and the 700-fill down insulation is coated with Down Defender to resist water and prevent down soak. Elastic cuffs seal out cold winds, and a high neckline protects our neck and lower face from the bone-chilling cold.

Good but not great

Nice jacket runs a little big. I own a similar jacket by another brand that is 800 fill. I can definitely feel the difference in warmth between the two. This 700 fill is not as warm and the extra room allows the cold air to flow in.

Warm, light, and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great down jacket that is incredibly warm for its size. Also looks nice. My only complaint is that the collar sticks out a bit more than I would like. I'm hoping that with continued wear it will fold down more readily.

Warm and lightweight

Exceeded Expectations

Perfect for traveling and daily wear
