Brought with me to a concert. Just sitting yet, after a few hours I was getting wet. Later I was soaked through. It wasn’t raining hard, it was just constant. Also, at the time this happened I hadn’t used them much but, it was too late to return them. Imagine if I was on a multi day hike. Very disappointing! They worked fine walking in light rain for 30 minutes. But, I’m looking for more in a pair for rain pants.

A pair of these pants arrived today in size large/regular, which was the size indicated for my waist on the chart accessed from the product webpage. The fit is loose, but might have been acceptable had there been a substantial way to tighten the waist line. Unfortunately, there is neither a drawstring nor belt loops on these pants, and both the hook and loop patches are not only equally small ( maybe 1.5 x 2"), but placed such that there is no way of tightening the fit. When they line up, the fit is loose (on me) and there are no options. Usually, the loop section is longer, such that the hook section can be pulled further before pressing in place, but not so with these oddities. Since I only had them on for 30 seconds, and it wasn't raining inside the house at the time, I can't judge whether they are good for inclement weather or not, but I can say that even a sedate walk would be too active for these pants, and they definitely run large.

Comfortable, Durable & Easy On-Off

This is my second pair of these rain pants - wore the first pair clean out. I find these pants to fit just right and they're easy to get on & off. First pair was durable and worked well when hiking or cycling.

I've had these a while, keep them in my car for rain, whatnot. Recently used them on a wet, snowy hike up to some hot springs, and they performs just fabulously. Not too noisy, kept me perfectly dry during the long hike in falling snow, zippers are large and easy to work, buttons are good quality. I'm liking them a lot. I got M/Long, fits over boots well, waistband fits under pack belt comfortable without any real problems. Can recommend as a shell. No insulation, which makes it good for a warmer, wet hike.
