Good rain jacket - very lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is great at keeping you dry in the rain. However it is truly a rain/wind jacket - it, in itself, is not going to keep you warm as it is very thin. This makes it lightweight and easy to pack if you're travelling, but I did think it would be a bit warmer than it actually is.

Great Replacement

This coat replaces a much loved but no longer wearable Isis. My new Marmot doesn’t have the decorative detail of the old jacket but I appreciate it’s zippered pockets, Velcroed sleeves and especially the extra high collar.

Exactly what I ordered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice, thin rain shell. The color is perfect and the fit is exactly as expected.

Almost exactly what I was looking for

I wanted a color that would show up in the dark or overcast without being so bright that it looked like a garment for a child. I love the orange color & have rec'd many compliments on it. The jacket is comfortable, & a good length, & the adjustable hood stays on well, without having to zip the jacket up all the way to the chin. My 2 disappointments in it are that instead of snaps on the placket covering the zipper, it has velcro which is a pain when the jacket is open or when hung & it touches other garments like a sweater, so I would have preferred snaps. The 2nd disappointment is that the nicely sized & zippered side pockets don't attach on the inside of the jacket so it looks as if you have additional inside pockets, but you do NOT; the fabric just runs through. ie: don't think you can insert your wallet or cellphone from the inside as it will just fall through! It would have been nice if those outer pockets had been sewn down on the bottom of the inside of the jacket to prevent this. I haven't had the rain jacket long enough to judge its durability, but I am hoping for the best.

Fantastic jacket

Great rain/wind jacket. I love the ability to tuck in the hood into the collar. This is my second one and I absolutely love the jacket.

Great jacket for rainy days

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the jacket, but would like it better if it had a more substantial zipper.
