Precip Eco Full-Zip Pant
Being prepared isn't just a motto reserved for scouts, but a good formula we could all do to remember when we're headed out into the backcountry. The Marmot Precip Eco Full-Zip Pants are a great necessity to have stashed at all times in your pack, and they'll keep you trudging through trails in the rain and sleet thanks to fully taped seams and waterproof, breathable NanoPro fabric. Weighing ten ounces, you'll hardly notice their presence, and full-length side zips make these some of the easiest rain paints to pull on when the weather changes. These zips also let you lose a little steam when things start to heat up, while zippered front hand pockets stow your favorite pocket knife and keep trailside snacks dry and ready for your next break.

Great pair of affordable rain pants
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Large tall
This is my second pair of marmot precip eco rain pants. They are fairly light weight and repel a rain very well without breaking the bank. I didn't think I would like the full zip, but that is a very handy feature.

After my previous rain paints pooped out after 20 years plus of service, I looked for their replacement. I found it in the Marmot Precip Eco Full-Zip Pant. Comfy, looks good, and gets the job done!

These are a great fit, and have kept me dry through many hours of walking and biking in the rain (for 3 weeks). If they stay this dry, I will be thrilled!

Kept me warm!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Small
How are these over? Fleece leggings I think hiking up the top of San Gorgonio Mountain. Hiking up San Grogonio mountain was cold and these pants kept me super warm. I wore them under fleece leggings. They also protected me from the pokey shrubs that were overgrown on the South Fork trail. For reference, I am normally an extra small in pants and a size 0 or double zero in jeans and I had the size up to a small in these.

Great rain gear
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seem like very nice rain pants. Like the full zip, easy to get on. Haven’t had any rain since we purchased, but they seem well made

Rain gear in a rush
Bought these on sale- failed to notice they were”long”. They are super long, like at least a 36 in inseam. I neede rainproof pants in a hurry for Alpine hiking, so I kept them

Great rain pant- Waterproof Lightweight Packable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great rain pants. Very satisfied. Waterproof and packable. The full zip was a must and worked great after some practice. Waist fit well over hiking pants. I got a size small short and it fit well. I'm 5'3", 120lbs, 26" waist. Only not 5 stars since they're not a goretex pant, but they got the job done well.

Great rain pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great rain protection pants. I love the way they zip completely on both sides. That makes it very convenient to pull them off and on.

Rain pants that work for short women
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of these. I have not yet had a chance to wear them because the weather has been nice. But what I love about them is that the fully separating zippers allow me to don and doff them without the need to tak my boots off and on. Even more importantly you make them in a short length (I am only 5'1") and that is the ONLY way this concept works. You cannot reasonably shorten rainpaints with a separating zipper--you have to start out with the correct length and not many companies cater to this need.

Women’s PreCip Eco full-zip rain pants-short
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Liked the full-zip feature for ease of putting on over pants and boots, also the XS short length, for petite size women. I’m under 5 ft and weigh 92lbs. They covered the tops of my shoes without being too long. However, did not try them in the rain. Sadly, returned them, because the waist was too tight over other layers of clothes. A drawstring in the waistband could allow for a looser fit or option to tighten. They might have been great for the rainy days in the PNW in Oregon.

What is the length (inseam) of the L regular vs L short pants, as a suggestion please consider hiring someone who is 5' 4' to 5' 6" to model women's SHORT pants.

Do the zippers on these pants fully separate so that you do not have to step through either the waist or the ankles with muddy boots?
