Ramble Component Jacket offers 3-in-1 versatility with waterproof protection and insulated warmth

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"This jacket is my go-to for all-season adventures. The waterproof shell is lightweight but super protective for rainy days, while the insulated liner adds the perfect amount of warmth for crisp mornings. Worn together, they’re unbeatable for cold, snowy conditions. It’s versatile, durable, and ideal for everything from commuting to hiking."

The Marmot Ramble Component Jacket is designed to keep us ready for anything Mother Nature throws our way. This 3-in-1 system pairs a lightweight, waterproof shell with a removable insulated liner, creating an adaptable solution for year-round weather challenges. Whether it’s a rainy spring hike, a crisp fall commute, or a winter ski session, the Ramble Component Jacket has us covered.

The NanoPro™ shell provides breathable, waterproof, and windproof protection to keep us dry and comfortable in wet conditions, while the fully seam-taped construction adds confidence on stormy days. The Thermal R liner jacket provides lightweight, packable warmth for cooler outings, and when the temperatures drop, combining the two layers delivers full-on winter protection. Thoughtfully designed with water-resistant zippers, an adjustable hood, and eco-friendly recycled materials, this jacket is as functional as it is sustainable.

Great fit and performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with the fit of this rain jacket that keeps a nice profile even with layers beneath and the liner intact. The hood is well structured and keeps the rain off my glasses and the water repellent surface is excellent, keeping me dry even in prolonged outdoor walks in Seattle’s wet winter. The detachable liner is so convenient so I can adapt to mild vs cold days. Zip and Velcro fasteners work very well. Would highly recommend this jacket to anyone who needs a rain coat upgrade this season.

Very warm jacket

A well made and very warm jacket. The removable liner is a godsend as it is too warm except for subfreezing temperatures.

Great jacket but not entirely waterproof

Great jacket and fits well, but not entirely waterproof unfortunately. Water stops beading and starts to seep into jacket if prolonged exposure (~30+ minutes) to rain.

Good warm jacket, small wrist opening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jacket is warm and comfy, but the area around the wrists is tight. Wish it was a little larger.

Good quality, color too bright

Material good, well made, but color too strong. Lightweight but seemed warm.

Solid ski jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 3 in 1 jacket met all my needs on a recent ski trip to Colorado. We had very cold weather and plenty of snow, but I was never too cold or warm. It’s a nice weight for the price point and more flexible than I expected.

Versatile jacket for a multitude of conditions!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Jacket is warm and surprisingly breathable. I wore the jacket skiing and what started as a colder day, but warmed to Spring-like conditions by noon. I was able to put the shell away and wear the liner. Great jacket for a day with variable conditions.
