Why We Like The Marmot Slopestar Insulated Pant
Made with a Marmot's Membrain 2- layer fabric, the Slopestar Insulated Pants are waterproof and breathable for comfort all day at the resort. PrimaLoft Black Eco adds a little extra warmth to keep us going on those chilly mornings, and integrated snow gaiters at the cuffs keep the snow out of our pants and boots. The adjustable waist help us get the perfect fit, and zippered leg vents allow us to release excess heat when we're working up a sweat.

Best Ski Pants!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the perfect ski pants! They have kept me warm and dry during a full day on the mountain. The vents are also perfect for if it does get a little warm.

Great Mid-Weight Pant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the small for my 12 year old daughter, who says they were very comfortable with plenty of stretch for skiing. Kept her warm but did not overheat, even when skiing sunny days at about 35 degrees F. Very pleased and would buy them again.

Quality Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality material, I appreciate the adjustable waist. Enough insulation to keep me warm, but weather is pretty mild right now.

Great pants, bad snaps
I love the fit and feel of these snow pants. The only thing I’m a little disappointed with are the snaps. They don’t close easily and seem to be of poor quality. I expected better clothing hardware from Marmot. At least the zipper is quality.

Comfortable but Frumpy
They fit comfortable in terms of movement. They are meant for a pretty specific body type-smaller waist with large thighs. They look frumpy IMO. They dont have the fit to accommodate an athletic/trendy fit. And if you aren't the specific body type they aren't flattering. They look large but not baggy. Just like I have the wrong size with no shape. If I sized down the waist would be too tight. To note I wear a 27 jeans, 138lbs. Size 4-6 in jeans, but I usually size up to a medium in athetic apparel. I bought a size medium and Im glad I did. Unless you have a very small waist, you couldn't size below the medium for a tighter fit around the legs. At 27 waist it is maxed tightness unless I wanted a pinching look. It looks like this is a motherly fit for sledding. Coming from a mom. Boxy fit. Pro is I can fit layers underneath and the color "olive green" is nice.
