Super light, roll fast, puncture easily

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These tires came stock on my Pivot Mach 4 SL with Reynolds carbon wheels. The light rolling weight they offer is phenomenal, an absolute game changer. BUT... I regularly ride on rough, rocky Phoenix trails, and within the past 8 months I have irreparably punctured two rears of these tires, large gashes right in the contact patch at the base of a knob, both times. I've never had this problem before with other tires. For my purposes, they simply do not hold up. Gotta find something else, unfortunately probably a little heavier.
