Last time to buy Merrell.
I ended up buying two of these because they had a buy one get the second pair half off. They look good and they felt good at first but the quality is poor. I bought these in August and I'm about to throw one pair away. Hardly any tread left on the bottom and the material inside by heel now has a hole. I've had other Merrell's in the past and seems like the quality gets worse each time I buy a pair. I won't be buying anymore.

MY FAVORITE MERRELL STYLE EVER!
I now have 2 pair in this style, plus 1 pair of Bravada boots, and it has become my favorite style of all the Merrell’s I have owned in the last 15 years. I moved over to Merrell from ASICS because my foot was getting wider, and their shoes became too narrow. These Merrell’s do not disappoint, and I can wear this shoe out of the box for a day on my feet, with NO break in time at all. In the medium width, in my regular size (10.5), there is plenty of width and give in the right toe box for my big toe bunion. Not only that, the lace area does not cut across the bunion at all, so it is comfortable and does not rub! It’s smooth! I don’t have a bunion area on my left foot. There is also room in this shoe for my custom orthotics, when I remove the inner sole that comes with the shoe. Win win! Huge! They have the right amount of “cushion” for hiking trails here in NC mountains, as well as walking a lot. One more thing, these shoes actually look stylish, and not clunky, like a lot of shoes with this much support do. I also like that these shoes don’t have that huge built up heel that makes you 3” taller, like walking in Dansko’s (which I wore back in my medical days. I’m not a fan of the “rocker” soles. So, as you can see, I’m a really happy camper - so Merrell, PLEASE don’t change these, and keep making the fun colors, and keep having sales! I’m going to buy another pair!

Loved the shoes but…
I love the look of these shoes but it seems like there is extra material under the sho laces. My feet are a bit slender and by the time that I tied them there was a fold in the material under the shoe laces that rubbed the top of my foot. I had to stop wearing them due to the discomfort.

Wonderful walking and hiking shoe!
I bought this shoe in the blue colors 8 months ago and have worn them almost every day since then. I bought them for a trip to Greece and Italy and my feet never hurt during the miles of walking. I love the tongue which allows me to stretch it enough to slip my foot in without untying and retying. The wide width is perfect for my jammer toe and bunion issues. I love walking in these every day.

The best for walking
Just what I was looking for -- lightweight, comfortable out of the box, good support for lots of walking in the neighborhood and on trails. I like the design, the blue color and red/blue laces.

Nice toe box
I need a large, comfortable toe box and this shoe has it. I walked all over italy with them and never had an issue.

First time not happy
The tongue on this sneaker does not move much so It's a push and pull to get it on my foot. Not happy with shoe design. The material catches lint. Have owned more than a dozen Merrell over the years. This one is a bust for me.

Comfortable Out of the Box
Comfortable sneaker, good for walking, wearing all day and easy hikes. Very wide at the 'bunion' area - tho they can be tightened here - but still wide.

My new walking shoes
Well made and light weight. As soon as they arrived I put them on. They look exactly like the ones advertised. Bright colors and black n white shoe laces. I walk every day to exercise and be outside. I my hike is over 2 miles that includes rocks, sand and hills. I found theses shoes perfect for all those terrains.
