My everyday go to shoe.
I’ve worn both the non-waterproof and waterproof versions of this shoe, I haven’t noticed any differences, I really don’t think the shoes are waterproof, the leather stains just the same and even wearing them in the rain my feet get just as wet. These shoes are my everyday shoes because they’re easy to put on and they are very comfortable mile after mile. They’re tough and they handle the rugged terrain well, I’ll take these any day over the Moab’s.

Men's Chameleon 8 Stretch
Just bought my 3rd pair. Easy to put on and take off, comfortable and decent longevity for the price of the shoe. I wear a size 9 for sneakers but, I go up a 1/2 size for the Chameleon 8. Perfect fit for me.

Dependable
I've used Merrell while on deployments to Afghanistan and walked mountains in them. You try a lot of boots when you're young, impressionable, and have footwear options. Merrills were the battalion favorite for walking all over the mountains. These did not disappoint and in fact, I did notice a positive performance change when wearing them. I put a lot of miles on these boots in full combat gear and after eleven years, I've still been coming to Merrell for their boots (these specifically) to hike with the family in. Thank you Merrill.

Best day to day all purpose!
Ive had 6 pairs of Chameleons, love them! Hot, cold , wet and dirty they hold up!

Highly recommend
Comfortable out of the box. Good tread on the soles for mixed terrain. Convenient slip on for an old man with a bad back that struggles to bend over and tie laces on bad days!
