Perfect Christmas gift
Great gift at Christmas for my hiker wife. The fit and style of MOAB is a benefit to her feet. Hiking is a great way for both of us to enjoy life. Moab works well for both of us!

I received an email asking me for a review but it wouldn't let me select anything but 5 stars. Not true. I give these 1 star. I bought them based on good reviews. The fit is fine and they felt okay for about two weeks. Then every time I wore them, they made my feet ache and cramp. I tried different socks, different insoles, different tightness of lacing. nothing helped. I ended up giving them to the thrift store. Waste of money.

For the first few times I wore these, they felt fine. But after about two weeks, every time I wore them, they made my feet and knees ache. My feet would get cramps in the top of my instep, even when they were loosely laced. Too bad. I like the look but have tried changing insoles - they still hurt.

Shoes could be better
I bought the Moab 3 hiking boots several years ago and they are wonderful. These shoes are very different. The quality has gone down. Instead of being well padded and comfortable from day one, these shoes are hard and uncomfortable. I have had many Merrill shoes and boots over the years, but sorry to say this pair is a true disappointment.

Nothing but Merrill
I love these Merrill's! I had the same model for years and had to go up a half size. (I'm getting older.) I use them for hiking as well as walking in my neighborhood! Comfortable with great support and I think they look good, too.

Perfect
They were comfortable from the first time that I put them on. They required no breaking in period. They are light weight and the soles provided good protection from the rocky terrain that I was walking on. And the tongue stayed in place. As I have a sensitive big toe, the toe box was roomy and comfortable.

Love this sneaker
Love this shoe so much that I bought it in a different color. Extremely comfortable. Easily able to walk an entire day in an amusement park with no problems.

A bit slippery but otherwise great and warm
This is my second pair. Although I love them I think the sole grip could be less slippery on snow and ice.
