Why We Like The Moab 3 Mid Hiking Boot
We count on the Moab 3 Mid Hiking Boot to balance the confident stability of a mid-height hiker with lightweight, breathable comfort to keep us fast and upright. The nylon shanks and protective rubber toe cap improve ankle stability and protect us from rock strikes. The hybrid leather and mesh upper provides lightweight breathability, while a grippy Vibram TC5+ outsole gives us the confident traction we need over muddy trails and wet slickrock.

I’ll fitting, way off in sizing
Have purchased numerous pairs of Merrell shoes. Recently ordered a pair of Moab 3 Mids in size 12 as my toes were nearing the ends of my 11.5s and aggravating my feet. Took the 12s out for a mountain hike with heavier socks as they seemed off in size. They were fitting loose as if they were the “wides” and were basically too long for comfort in spite of being laced as tight as possible. Basically un-usable. Oh well…

Hiking Slippers
Comfortable for a walk in the City or on the trail. I like them so much that I have bought 4 pairs over the last 8 years.

great hiking boot
I like this hiking boot. They are comfortable and no breaking in period. This is my 3rd pair Merrell's and never had an issue with any of them. I use mine for hiking, hunting and everyday use.

As expected as usual . Great boots
Good boot as always, but sizes seem to vary slightly. Short life but great.

Amazing shoes, zero longevity
My go to disposable hiking shoes. To be clear I absolutely love these shoes. They are the most comfortable hiking shoes I have ever worn and the grip is like that of an approach shoe. Now for the bad... I burned through my first pair in 8 weeks. I got about 200 miles out of them. Even after my first trip in the chiricahua mountains in AZ I noticed some of the tread on the bottom was damaged. Lugs started coming off and it got so bad the shoes became unwearable due to an uneven feeling on the inside where the tread came off. I thought maybe I got a lemon pair. I tossed those and ordered another and now after just three days of peakbagging I lost a big piece of tread. It is very unfortunate because I absolutely love these shoes but they are just inexcusably undurable for what they are advertised as. Please Merrell fix this!

From sand to snow
I’ve had mine for years. They’re my go to shoes. I’ve worn them everywhere from the sands of Normandy, France to the snows of South Lake Tahoe. If I only had three pairs of shoes, these would be one of those pairs.
