Great shoe for wet weather
I have 2 pairs of these in the high top, a wide width and a regular width. I ordered these in regular as I wanted a color besides gray or black. They fit ok, not as comfortable fit wise as my wide high top and for some reason they really slip in the heel but only on one foot. So it may just be my foot. I do like them for stability on trails and they so feel like a plush running shoe and keep my feet dry in snow and pouring rain. I am hoping they break in just a bit more like my high top wide width version but I have to lace them up pretty tight to keep the heel from slipping. I usually wear a size 9.5 in running and training shoes and bought these in a 10. They do fit well in other than the right heel slipping.

Not a great fit for me
I ordered these because they were the closest thing to the last pair I bought and loved until they fell apart, and unfortunately they aren't as good for my feet as the previous pair. As I was walking and hiking, I noticed that my heel kept sliding up with each step. My foot never came out, but it definitely felt like it was going to. Since I wore them outside already, I can't return them. So I will keep wearing them but not for hiking because I need to feel stable while climbing a mountain and these do not provide that for me. Usually Merrell hiking shoes and boots are the only ones I can wear reliably, so this was a little disappointing. Maybe the next pair will be better.

Not for me
The technology was great; however, the shoes were bulky and loose in the heel.

No pain on my Europe trip.
Travelled to London and Edinburgh on the holidays. As a Hoka only user with plantar fascitis, this amazed me. Protected me from rain, cold and 6000 steps per day.

No complaints
Exactly what I wanted and needed! Grippy soles, comfortable shoes, warm, sturdy. I might buy another pair! I have a wide foot so i sized up half an inch just in case. I think the fit is good.

avid hiker / walker.
Good support with hiking. Wears well in rough terrain. Make sure you size up as my first pair I missed that suggestion and developed some toe pain from improper fit. I would recommend to a friend and I will buy another pair when current shoes wear out. I normally wear a size 9 and in this shoe I’m wearing a size 9 .5 . I have a high arch wide foot and it fits great !

Disappointing fit and stiff fabric
I’ve been a Moab fan for years, but the Moab 2 in Gortex was a big disappointment. They did not provide the perfect fit and comfort straight out the box that I have come to expect from Merrell. The heel was wide and kept slipping even after I tightened the laces. The toe felt a little confined and the fabric felt stiff. Unfortunately these are going back.

Another great Merrell
Great support and comfort on walking trails. Easy to put the sneaker on and I like the height of the shoe bottom so it is comfortable against the ground. Stylish and great color
