Favorite Zero Drop Trail Shoe
Really like the zero drop. Enjoy the vapor glove 5 for day to day but this one is a bit more protected for trail running

Pleasantly surprised, great shoe!
I have had these shoes for about 3 months now and absolutely love them. Great for everyday, long distance, and light to moderate trails including the beach. They were also great for general walking as i wore them in an amusement park for 12+ hours and my feet felt great at the end of the day.

The way shoes should feel
Just wish there was a waterproof version. Barefoot shores are the way your feet should feel in shoes. It bound and restrained.

Vapor to Trailglove Transition
Having worn the vaporglove exclusively for the past 5 years, it was bit of a transition. Not nearly as much ground feel and flex, but way more protection and warmth. I still prefer the vaporgloves, but these will probably become my go to shoes for colder weather.

Sole is worn through after few months light use
Four months of light use and the sole has worn through. Very expensive shoes that wear out like a cheap pair of dollar store shoes. My past ones i loved and were over four years old. Disappointed i will be looking elsewhere.

Tread wears quickly
Yeah the tread wears too quickly on these newer trail glove versions; otherwise love the shoe!!

Good for my unusual issue
I chose the Vapor Glove 7 because of some special needs on my side. I have a mobility issue and use a cane most of the time. I found that, with regular sneakers, because I was higher off the ground I was more prone to stumbling because the sole 'grabbed' the pavement so effectively and I did not 'feel' the walking surface. The Vapor Glove has been very effective in reducing my stumbling...not exactly a feature that the Merrell Marketing folk would want to emphasize :) In addition, because I can frequently drag one foot when walking, the outsole, with the wraparound feature at the toe prevents excessive wear in that area. A purchaser might want to consider a half size down from their regular sneaker size because of the more rounded toe design with the Vapor Glove. I have to use an insole even though I acquired the exact size as my regular sneaker. It also takes a little getting used to with the thinner outsole and more rounded design. These might be more related to my personal circumstance but is worth noting. Overall a very good sneaker for my unique situation.

Sizing is off
Great quality and comfort. The issue is sizing. I’m normally a 81/2 in any regular shoe but heard these fit big. I got a half size smaller but still find they are too big in the forefoot. Wish I had got a full size smaller ( 71/2) instead of 8. Other than that I think they’re pretty good.
