Why We Like The Merrell Trail Glove 7 Running Shoe
Made sustainably with almost entirely recycled materials, the Trail Glove 7 Running Shoe features a low-profile and zero-drop design for minimalist runners who crave a barefoot feel. Great shoe, but sole wears too fast.
Probably my favorite, most comfortable off road running shoe. Its biggest issue is the sole wears far too quickly. I've not tried the most recent model but on most prior models it was an issue. I almost never wear these shoes anywhere but off road and the still wear too quickly

Soles wearing out fast
These shoes are super comfy and I was rally excited about using them as day hikers and casual off-road runners, but I've barely warn them 10 times and the soles are already wearing out. At this point, they will not even last a month worth of wear. Was hoping for a lot more from a brand that I usually have a lot of confidence in.

Excellent minimalist shoe for trail
Long time Merrell customer. Appreciate the thorough specs and description, especially with sizing. I bought the Trail Gove 7 in my regular size to accommodate orthotic insoles. Description stated this model runs a half size larger. The fit was perfect. Had i ordered my regular size, i would have had to exchange it. So, order a half size smaller if you plan to wear it out of the box. Order your normal size if you insert orthotic insoles.

Fabulous shoe
I have purchased 5 pairs of these shoes over the years. I love them more than any other shoe. So comfortable. Wish they were wider but they are wide enough.

Comfortable all day
This runs narrower and longer than wrapt style so did not work as well for me. Still a great looking comfortable shoe.

Still love the barefoot series.
Great shoe . Ran a mixed 5 k in them day one. Forget how many muscles you don’t use when running in zero drop shoes. Lightweight ordered the half size down like the site recommended. For like a glove haha.

Long time Merrell fan
I’ve been a fan of Merrell’s barefoot shoes for a while now. Decided to see what they have, my Merrell shoes I bought in 2013 finally needed replacement. Very happy with the Trail Glove 7. The stack is perfect for a barefoot feel without feeling too many pebbles or rocks on the trail.

Ultimate Barefoot Shoe
This is my second pair. I got it again because this is a very reliable shoe. I did over 100miles on the first pair! x4 stars and not x5 because the shoe gets all kinds of things stuck to the outside of it.. grasses, thistles, thorns, etc. Also, it would be great to see more water resistance/repellent capabilities as this things soaks up just the morning due and any other sort of moisture on a hike I've found. I know what it can and cannot do now so one just has to plan accordingly when wearing this shoe. Overall this shoe is very comfortable and reliable!

Good shoe, but sole wears out QUICKLY
On my third pair of Trail Gloves. I like the design, but as with the prevailing sentiment, the soles wear out much more quickly than most shoes. Earliest versions of the TG were better.
