Awesome foot shape
Fit and feel great. Love the foot shape. Back height is a little low for snow, but makes the ankle very agile, which is great. Laces stay tight and secure.

Amazing boot. Impossible to get into.
I have a low pair I love. These mids are just too much to fight with to don. I will try removing more lace to get in. Too bad, as the toe box is a miracle and the sole is right grippy. If you can make them easy to get into, I’d give them a 10!

Great all around shoe
These are not marketed as a hiking shoe; however, I find them to be a pretty good option for most hikes as long as you are not going over very technical/sharp terrain, and are accustomed to the barefoot shoe lifestyle. They are extremely grippy and have plenty of room for heavy socks. They are comfortable and sleek looking enough for casual wear as well.

Steps Forward for Barefoot Boots - Almost There
I've had these shoes for a few weeks. I think they demonstrate that Merrell is on the right path to make some of the best 'hybrid' barefoot shoes available, and at an attractive price. For me, the Wrapts strike a really good balance on the stack height which allows for some shock absorption and good grip without compromising stability like shoes with really tall stack heights. The wide toe box is necessary and appreciated. I think it could be a bit wider, and it could definitely be taller. I think the arch support is a bit of a double edged sword, and for my feet it could be reduced. It starts a bit too close to my heels leading to some minor plantar fasciitis, but having a bit of support is nice for days that require a lot of standing. The arch also seems to give the shoes the feeling of not quite being zero drop, which is probably my number 1 or number 2 qualifier for a pair of shoes. The relative stiffness also adds some protection but does compromise the barefoot feel. Overall I think the compound in the sole could be 15-20% more flexible. Not quite as soft as the vapor gloves, but softer than it is on these. The waterproofness is also a mixed bag. It's proved nice in the northeastern winter, but the boots get hot and I imaging they won't be comfortable in the summer. In conclusion, my wish list for another pair of boots in this line would be: - Less defined arch - Slightly softer rubber compound - Taller toe box - Black and Coyote color ways in men's for LEO/MIL users - PLEASE make a ventilator version. I would buy that even if everything else was the same. (Merrell, hit me up if you ever need product testers for barefoot boots/shoes (; )

Great Fit, but no Cushioning
I love the fit and the look of these boots. I have purchased some cushioned insoles as the boots have none. Time will tell how they work for me.

Very disappointed
I thought I would love these boots. I have been a happy Merril customer for many years. When I first bought these boots I loved them. But after my third wearing, I had a painful blister above the back of my heel where there is a hard seam that forms a ridge. I have a pair of low trail shoes from the same barefoot line that are great. But the high boots are a problem. I'm very disapppointed with them.

Not barefoot shoe
Great quality but not the right fit for me. Vapor Glove and Trail Glove I have in size 11 fitting perfectly. These I intended to use as winter boots and I really wanted to fit me, I tried both mid and regular wrapt and had to return all. 11.5 mid fits small lengthwise, 12 mid the arch support is not in the right spot. I don't want arch support in my barefoot shoes to start with. The regular wrapt I tried in 11 and 11.5 respectively (they run smaller than the mid) and had the same problem, also returned. I wish Merrell made a proper barefoot winter shoe. Wrapt is not it.
