The Montane Anti-Freeze Hooded Down Jacket features premium materials, so we can take on bitterly cold temperatures on our trekking trips and mountaineering missions. That starts with the Pertex Quantum Eco shell for a light but abrasion-resistant outer barrier that's windproof and treated with a durable water repellent to protect us—and the down—from snow and light rain. The 750-fill down is highly packable with excellent warmth for the weight, and it's treated with a HyperDry coating to resist any moisture that does sneak through in order to maintain its heat-trapping loft. With its warm and water-resistant construction, the Anti-Freeze jacket is bomber on our backs and packs down small into its included stuff sack, so we can whip it out of our packs when the temperatures plummet or the summit approaches.

Good quality but slim fit

Seemed like a good jacket, but I had to return it because it fit too small. I wear a large in the similar Marmot jacket, but this one was too small in a large. Also, the zipper is on the left side, which felt odd since they are usually on the right in the US.

High end brand killer

Compared to arcteryx jackets these are a better bang for your buck. I’ve worn this jacket during activities like a 30 mile motorcycle ride, 20 mile bike ride, and a full round of golf. The comfort, durability, and fit of this jacket is great. I’m no longer an arcteryx customer.

Bought For My Son - We purchased the men's small for our son. He is 5ft7in and very lean, 110lbs. Jacket fits great, long arms, and long torso has plenty of coverage in the back that drops a little below mid-seat. He actually likes it enough to wear it to school. Kids don't wear jackets, only hoodies, so that's a big deal.

This is a great puffy. It's lightweight, packs away into a tiny package, and it's WARM. The fit is nice too. It doesn't look super boxy, but has room to layer underneath.
