Massive. Fill it to bursting and wear like a pack. Survives air travel well. Truly tough and very handy

How do you mess up a *duffel* bag? Mind-boggling!
Really poorly thought-out bag. I have and heavily use other dry duffles including a Patagonia Black Hole and the equivalent REI bag, so I was stoked to find this even larger size waterproof bag (I bought 2). Unfortunately, it has significant flaws. First, none of the straps tuck. The shoulder/backpack straps are permanently attached at one end, but there's no pocket nearby. The center shoulder strap likewise detaches at only one end, and instead of a pocket has a fiddly Velcro roll-keeper strap - so even when folded, it's still a floppy little nub flapping around on one end of the bag. Second, this bag has effectively no way to carry it comfortably in one hand (!). Unlike basically every other duffel, the Camp 4 has no center-mounted straps, only straps that connect at each end. It has backpack straps and the center shoulder strap (full length), and that's it - so the closest thing it has to a pair of regular carry handles is the shoulder straps (also full length). So if carrying horizontally, the bag immediately 'tacos' in the middle and basically drags on the ground. This means that effectively the bag has only a two 'shoulder' carry modes, and no 'hand carry' mode. Again, truly astounding for a duffel bag from a major manufacturer.
