Great for petite athletes!
I bought these a few weeks ago and I love them. I am also a shorty (5'1"), with muscular thighs from all that hiking and biking. It is so rare to find a pair of pants that are the right length (ankle on me) and have room for my thighs while still fitting (with drawstring) in the waist. My only wish for improvement is actually a wish for all drawstring waists.... About half the times I have to go to the bathroom I inadvertently make a knot when I'm trying to untie the waist. End up with a mini-struggle at an inopportune time! That said, am still buying another pair today before they get changed or discontinued (please don't).

Great Quality
As always, great quality from MH. I’m short at 5,1 so these are ankle pants for me. I love the material, there is stretch but not too much, just right.
