Why We Like The Mountain Hardwear High Exposure GORE-TEX C-Knit Bib Pant
Mountain Hardwear utilizes GORE-TEX's lightest and most packable fabric in the High Exposure GORE-TEX C-Knit Bib Pant, making these the most impressive touring bibs in their lineup. Now made with an ePE GORE-TEX membrane and recycled nylon, these pants are tougher, lighter, and more eco-friendly than ever before. A center front zip and side zips make it easy to dress in these relaxed-fit bibs, and if the conditions call, we can ditch them in a flash to stow them in our pack for a more comfortable trek up the skin track.

Impressed!
I tried many bibs over the years, I was impressed with the High Exposure ones. First of all, they are true to size. On the baggier side for some people maybe, but they are backcountry and freeride bibs, I expect them to be roomier to adjust with layers and mouvements on the up and down. They feel and are really light. The durability might not be the same as a Gore-Tex Pro, but they feel great. Pockets and gear attachment loops are great. I am always looking for bibs with at least one thigh pocket that can have a beacon secured to it. Every single pocket on these bibs have a loop to secure a beacon to. Great product Mountain Hardwear,

Straps aren't long enough
I'm 6'4" and a 34" waist and bought the large. The bib itself seems great - it was lightweight and waterproof-looking shell and the pocket mapping was good. However, the straps aren't long enough! The crotch of the bib was grabbing my junk too much to be wearable. I don't understand why I would be maxing out the straps in a size large, especially since an XL would be too big around the waist. What's to lose by making the straps a little longer? Another couple inches would have made it a perfect fit, and anyone who doesn't need the extra length can tighten the straps. I'm really disappointed to have to return it now, it would have been perfect otherwise...

Excellent Shell Bib
Perfect for long walks in the backcountry or warmer days in the resort. So lightweight. You get excellent freedom of movement. Also love the ankle cinch
