What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"This jacket is my go-to for unpredictable weather. It’s super light, packs down into its own pocket, and provides just the right amount of wind resistance without overheating. Whether I’m on a high-alpine climb or an early morning trail run, the stretch ripstop fabric moves with me and keeps me comfortable."

The Kor AirShell Jacket is the kind of layer we never leave behind. Designed with Pertex® Quantum Air stretch ripstop fabric, this ultralight shell balances breathability and wind resistance for high-output adventures. Whether we’re climbing exposed ridgelines or setting out on a breezy trail run, the raglan sleeves and underarm gussets provide unrestricted movement, while the elastic cuffs and hem seal in warmth.

This jacket packs into its own pocket for ultimate convenience, making it easy to stash in a pack or clip to a harness with the integrated carabiner loop. Super lightweight wind shell

I always underestimate this windshell. It is incredibly lightweight. I mean, really, really light. And it stops the wind from freezing me and is a great light layer on chilly, but not cold, days. The Pertex is far more breathable than the Gore fabric used in my Arc'teryx wind shell. I now layer this over light or midweight fleece on cool, and especially cool and windy, days.

My go to light jacket

Stylish and the answer to that temperature range between perfect and chilly. Super light and almost unnoticeable in your pack, luggage or center car console. I highly recommend this jacket as part of your kit.

Kor Air-shell Jacket Doing What It Is Supposed To

So far so good. I have worn it in cold weather as a layer garment over a base layer for walking and hiking. (I put an insulation layer over that....) Something like 10 times as of now. It is doing what I planned. It packs down very small and along with that, is very light. In such a layering configuration as I described, 20+ mph winds and 25 degree F did not bother me.
