Spacious and sturdy, the Mineral King 3 Tent enhances every camping adventure

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I’ve used the Mineral King 3 Tent on multiple trips, from breezy beach campsites to alpine conditions, and it never disappoints. The setup is surprisingly easy for its size, and the two large doors make access a breeze. I love the fly's halfway roll-back feature for stargazing. Plus, the pre-bend poles really maximize interior space. It’s tough, weather-resistant, and feels roomy for two people—even with some gear inside. Definitely a reliable shelter for multi-day trips."

When we’re out exploring the backcountry, the Mineral King 3 Tent becomes our comfortable home away from home. Mountain Hardwear designed it with adventure in mind—featuring a spacious interior, two large doors for easy access, and full mesh panels that provide ventilation while showcasing the night sky. Whether we’re at a high-altitude basecamp or nestled in a forest clearing, we can rely on its stability thanks to the DAC Pressfit™ poles and proprietary HangTight™ stabilizing system.

The Mineral King 3 Tent stands up to changing weather with its durable rainfly, which can be rolled halfway back for nighttime stargazing or shade during the day. Inside, the symmetrical layout and pre-bend poles maximize livable space, and the ample pockets keep our essentials close at hand. With a lightweight, bathtub-style floor and included footprint, it’s crafted to handle damp conditions without sacrificing comfort. Whether we’re trekking to alpine lakes or setting up at the campsite, this tent keeps us comfortable, protected, and ready for the next adventure.

Sturdy, Roomy, and Easy Setup

I've used this tent in various conditions this year, including heavy wind and rain. It has held up spectacularly. I stayed warm in dry during a heavy early fall downpour. It's an easy one person pitch and I love that you can easily put the fly down from inside if needed. Very spacious inside and I love that the doors tuck away inside into their own pockets when open.

A roomy two-person tent, but three's a crowd

Well made tent with numerous well-thought-out features. Very comfortable for two adults, but I think it would be crowded for three.

Amazing tent

Easy set up, kept warm in PNW windy conditions along the beach, and zero leaks through the rain.

It's Big

I bought this to replace a 2 person tent and it's big. Appears to be well made and the added bonus is the footprint is included. I have not used it yet, but look forward to putting it into play.

Great Tent

Great Tent. Easy to put together. probably could fit more like 3.5 or 4 in a pinch. Quality seems high. Love the door on both sides. Rain cover kept the rain out over a couple days of use in the rain. Like the tarp that comes with it to put down on the ground first to protect the tent.

Great tent

Good size for 2 people. Camped in Canada for 5 nights and temps got into the 20s*F. Easy to setup and super sturdy. Rained for a couple days and the inside stayed 100% dry. The included footprint is great. No complaints. Great tent.

Mineral king tent review

We really like the general set up of this tent. Pros: well constructed; easy to set up; retractable fly.... Cons: smaller vestibule; hard to get in and out of vestibule entrance.

Great view !

We love the tent , spacious for the two of us, and the view is amazing when the rain fly is half way , sleeping under the stars . We use mostly for car camping , and been very happy with the mineral king 3.
