I was very hesitant to get a stretch down jacket but went with MH because I believe in their quality. Good choice. I was sold on the high hip because I ride horses and need a shorter jacket. I got this jacket on sale and it was a great buy. I got a large as that was the only one left and I can layer underneath. Good looking jacket. Right Choice. FYI I am a 38" bust by tape with a tee shirt and and 39" hip. Hope this helps.

Not worth the cost
I was really excited about this jacket for the high hip component but it didn’t fit as expected (actually sat at a regular length for me — I’m 5’4”) and I didn’t find it warm enough to justify the price. I returned it.

Warm Jacket
Very nice fitting jacket and high quality. The sleeves just a tad long but all Mountain Hardware jacket sleeves fit me that way. I wish the color was more of a true mustard, but otherwise it's a great looking jacket. I knocked off one star because the fabric is "noisy" and not as soft to the touch as Patagonia's down sweater either.

Great Jacket
This is a great jacket. It is extremely lightweight and soft, yet very warm. The neck fits just right to keep your neck warm. High-Hip height allows for great movemnt. I am 5'3", 115lbs and the XS fits perfectly with enough room to layer underneath.
