First, I love this jacket. The material, pocket placement, zipper quality and look is great. What sucks…..I’ve worn this jacket for 2 seasons and all of the down fill across the shoulders in the back has migrated down into the arms and mid back. I mostly use the jacket for daily wear in the winter. I also used it for one season under a shell for snowboarding. This year, since the fill in the shoulders / upper back are basically zero, the jacket does not keep me warm. I have reverted to my old jacket for snowboarding and only wear my Mountain Hardware in warmer winter weather. Really disappointing. Especially because I have spoken to other women with this same jacket who have had the same experience. Too bad because it would be a five star item if the baffles across the shoulders and upper back were designed better.

Great coat

Good looking coat that is warm and fits me well. It has enough room for layering underneath and I look forward to using it in the colder months of the year.

Color doesn’t match

Normally I love Mountain Hardwear products, and this one certainly feels high quality, however the color shown online and in person are very different. I guess I should have looked at the men’s version, in which the color matched the photo/model. Not the worst but definitely less excited about wearing it.

Not for winter

The coat is much thinner than expected. The sleeves are too short for my comfort. I find this to be the case with most brands unfortunately. The size chart has me at a size small but I sized up to a medium for a tad longer arm length and to wear a sweatshirt underneath. This will be a spring, summer and possibly fall coat vs a warm winter coat for me.

I love the stretch down jackets. The black one was my most recent, I have a green and blue one. I just wish they were a little longer!

This is my second mountain hardware stretch down jacket. Super for snowboarding and just going to and from work daily.

Great jacket!!

This jacket is warm and comfortable. So far I’ve only used it for walking the dogs but it will be put to the test fat biking, and skiing. I ordered a small and feel like it runs on the big side compared to some of my other insulated MH jackets.
