Really poor fit.

Honestly the sizing on these are so weird. I tried on a medium and couldn’t get them up over my hips. I actually did a double check on the tag thinking “did I grab an XS or something? When I tried on the Large, the waistband is way too big and gapping, even with the belt. Just a strange fit overall and I am shocked this tight waistband made it into production.

Small Waistband

Love these joggers but can't get them on as the waist band is very small and tight. I ordered the next size up, the waist fits but overall too large, sad to return.

It’s great, but…

I really like these pants in black and am going to purchase the camo looking ones. I do agree that they are a bit funny to get on but they’re pretty cool once you’re wearing em. I got caught yesterday in the wind and rain and they did great! I love the stiff fabric, it’s giving 1990s windbreaker energy with a modern fit. I’m 5’5, an athletic 180lbs, 35” waist, 42” hip. I got XL. I believe my body is at the top of the size range for this product, sadly if your measurements are much higher it might not fit. Maybe there is room for 1-2” more in the hip but not the waist. I love a little ankle to show and I cuffed these 1x in the rain and 2x inside the home. I think if you were a bit taller than me they’d still work. Ultimate this product seems to be designed for more of a straight body. I like the fabric and style, and will rebuy.

Similar to what others have said, the waist band is soooo tight! I'm 5'1 and 112 lbs, and I have the hardest time getting it over my hips. Once they're on, I love how they look, but it's a real bummer to have to struggle so hard with the waist band. Makes me not want to wear them just bc it's that difficult getting them on and off. I ordered an xs and am going to try out a small and see if those fit better.

Poorly Designed Product

I was excited about these pants (and the shorts style) but when I tried them on, I was really disappointed. The waistband does not stretch enough to go over the hips. When I tried a bigger size, the pant legs were massive, and the waistband is too loose. At first I thought maybe it was just me, but I after reading reviews, I can see that it was a poorly designed product :( For reference, I am a xs/small in most pants, and could barley get the mediums over my hips.

What is UP with the waistband??

No idea why the waistband is so incredibly rigid, it seemed like a product defect but clearly isn’t because others have complained about the same issue. Unfortunately there weren’t any reviews yet when I ordered, if I had known I wouldn't have purchased them. I’m athletic but very curvy, 5’2 33” waist 45” hips 175lbs, and once I’ve wiggled them on the size L fits fine (with some breathing room in the waist too, and the length is ok for my short legs!) but getting them over my large behind is a challenge. There’s a built in belt to synch it tighter so IMO there’s no need for the waist to be so unforgiving. I’ll keep the pair I have but I wouldn’t repurchase any bottoms from the Stryder line again and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who has any curves at all. Super Disappointing.

So much potential

Wish these pants were made better, honestly hoping they fix the fitting error. Really loved the pants BUT it is near impossible to get them past our hips. I ordered xs, I’m 5’1”, 112 lbs, 25-26 in waist and STRUGGLED to get them past my hips. Once I did, they fit perfectly, but it’s even harder to get them past the hips to take them off. I’m returning them but really hope they just fix the product bc the pants would be perfect

Size down!

I know these are supposed to be oversized in the legs, but the waist also seems to run pretty big. I had to keep pulling the webbing through and cinching it tighter and tighter, and by the time I had the waist tight enough, the fabric was so bunched up that it looked pretty goofy. I'm returning, so not sure how the correct size would fit. 27" waist, bought size small.

Great material, but fit is not for wide hips

These are almost perfect! Material is so nice, and the fit in the legs is like the model pics. However, the waistband doesn't have much stretch. This makes it a struggle to pull them over my hips, but they're comfortable in the waist once I get them on. Unfortunately, I'm returning them because when I'm hiking and such, I don't want to struggle to pull them down to pee. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs.

Runs VERY small

Runs way too small, I couldn’t even get them past my hips. I order small size along with the rockrydge pants. Rockrydge were on the bigger side… this were definitely small. I’m usually small or 4-6, I’m 5’6” and 140 pounds. Also wasn’t a fan of the material, a little stiff… I might try them on a Medium size?
