We can secure the Trango 2 against winter weather and high alpine conditions with the durable fly and bathtub-style floor, guy-out points with self-equalizing guy-out anchors on side walls, quality DAC tent stakes, and vestibule snowflaps to seal out spindrift. Two windows and zippered vents limit condensation in cold conditions and let us catch some breeze in mild mountain weather. Daytime and nighttime visibility is great inside the tent, thanks to a triple-reinforced UVX window that brightens the interior and a light diffuser pocket that transforms our headlamp into a lantern for better lighting in the dark.
